Reflexology is a deeply relaxing, non-invasive treatment that works at a physical and emotional level, helping the body to regain its natural balance promoting a sense of inner calm and wellbeing. Reflexology is a complementary therapy based on the principle that all organs, structures and systems of the body have a corresponding reflex on the feet which house over 7000 nerve endings. By applying direct pressure to the feet, reflexologists can detect imbalances which may be causing pain and disharmony within the body - by stimulating these reflexes, balance is restored and symptoms can improve.
